1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device to store information. Similar technologies — such as local storage, pixels, and software development kits — perform comparable functions. We refer to all of these together as "cookies" in this notice. Cookies can be "session" cookies, which expire when you close your browser, or "persistent" cookies, which remain until they expire or you delete them. They can be set by us ("first-party") or by a provider acting on our behalf ("third-party").
2. Why we use cookies
Athollus currently uses cookies and similar browser storage where necessary to operate and secure the Services, including to authenticate users and maintain signed-in sessions. We do not currently use advertising cookies or analytics cookies to track your activity across the Services.
If we introduce additional cookies or similar technologies in the future, we will update this Notice and, where required by applicable law, provide appropriate notice and choices before using them.
3. Categories of cookies we use
Strictly necessary cookies
Athollus currently uses strictly necessary cookies and similar browser storage to provide essential functions of the Services. These technologies support functions such as signing you in, maintaining your authenticated session as you move between pages, and helping protect access to your Workspace. Because these technologies are necessary for the Services to function, disabling them through your browser may prevent you from signing in or using authenticated features.
Other cookies
Athollus does not currently use advertising cookies or analytics cookies to track page or feature usage. We also do not currently use a separate category of functional or preference cookies. If we introduce non-essential cookies or similar technologies in the future, we will update this Notice to describe their purpose and, where required by applicable law, provide appropriate consent or preference controls.
4. Third-party cookies
Some technologies necessary to operate the Services may be provided through third-party service providers acting on our behalf, including providers that support authentication and infrastructure. These providers process information in connection with providing their services to Athollus and are subject to applicable contractual and privacy obligations.
We do not currently use third-party advertising trackers. If our use of third-party cookies or similar technologies changes, we will update this Notice accordingly.
5. How to manage cookies
You can control cookies and similar technologies through your browser and device:
Browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and may allow you to receive warnings before cookies are stored. Refer to your browser's help pages for instructions. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from signing in or using authenticated features of the Services.
Device controls. Your operating system or device may provide additional controls for cookies or similar technologies.
If you clear cookies or use a different browser or device, you may need to sign in again.
6. Do Not Track and browser privacy signals
Some browsers and devices provide Do Not Track or other privacy preference signals. Athollus does not use personal information to serve cross-context behavioral advertising and does not sell personal information. Because browser privacy signals and the legal requirements associated with them continue to evolve, we will update our technical controls and this Notice as required if our practices or applicable obligations change.
7. Changes to this notice
We may update this Cookie Notice as our practices or the technologies we use change. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
8. Contact
